The St. Joseph Table will be held on March 22 and 23, 2014, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis in Belton, Missouri. The event will begin following the 4:00pm Mass on Saturday, with the blessing of the table by Fr. Jeff Stephan. For sale will be baked goods, breads, cookies, pies, brownies, and other delicious items. To complement the baked goods, fruit baskets, wine, jams, and jellies will also be available. The bake sale will be held following each weekend Mass (4:00pm, 8:00am, 10:30am, and 12:30pm).

A spaghetti dinner will be held on Sunday from 11:00am to 2:00pm, as part of the St. Joseph Table. Menu items include Chicken Parmesan, Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, Spaghetti Milanese, and Spaghetti Marinara. All dinners come with salad and bread, and are all-you-can-eat. Prices for the meal are: adults $8.00, seniors $7.00, children $7.00, or a family for $35.00.

Isaiah 58: 7-11 says, "Sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; Clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own. Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your wound shall quickly be healed; Your vindication shall go before you, and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard, Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say: Here I am! If you remove from your midst oppression, false accusation and malicious speech; If you bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; Then light shall rise for you in the darkness, and the gloom shall become for you like midday; Then the Lord will guide you always and give you plenty even on the parched land. He will renew your strength, and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails," (New American Bible, 1991, Wichita, KS: Devore & Sons, Inc.).

Come to St. Sabina's, enjoy some great food, and help others in need, all at the same time.
