St. Joseph's Westgate to open in Glendale in April

As the metro Phoenix area continues to grow, the West Valley welcomes a new hospital.

St. Joseph's Westgate is set to open Monday, April 28 for patients at 99th Avenue and Glendale, just west of the Loop 101.

A open house for the public will take place Sat., April 26. From 9 a.m. to noon, community members can take a look at the hospital, participate in activities and obtain health information.

The hospital will open with an emergency department and 24 inpatient beds and two operating rooms.

To apply for a position at the new facility, go to www.dignityhealthcareers.org. St. Joseph's Westgate is also seeking a team of volunteers to aid in its mission to provide care in the community.

St. Joseph's Westgate is Dignity Health's first facility in the West Valley. Dignity Health Arizona is comprised of Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, as well as other related clinical and collaborative partnerships in the Valley. InArizona, more than 8,000 people are employed.
