Have you ever visited the fair and wondered how all those great exhibits and animals get to the fair? 4H is a program that involves a lot more than livestock projects at the fair. This week, the St. Joe County 4-H program is showcasing some of these examples up close. Close to 50 different project leaders will be available in the Esther Singer Building, Saturday February 15, 2014 from 8am-1PM.
You can enroll during the St. Joseph County 4H open house on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Esther Singer building at the fairgrounds, located at 5116 S. Ironwood Dr. in South Bend. Participants may also enroll through the 4-H On-line Enrollment Center in the Indiana County 4-H Program of your choice. (Enrollment typically occurs in the county of residence).
There is a $15 per person State 4-H Program fee, you will have the option of paying the fee on-line with a credit card or paying in person with personal check or cash at your local Purdue Cooperative Extension Service Office.
Sign-ups are due by March 1st, click here for more information. The fair will run June 27-July 5.
