St. Francis Hospice honored volunteers and Pet Therapy Volunteers this past weekend at the Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu. It was the perfect tropical setting for volunteers, Sisters of St. Francis, staff of St. Francis Hospice and pet therapy volunteers. Each volunteer was given a special gift bag when entering the venue and a special bag of dog treats was included for volunteers for their therapy dogs.
The CEO, Jerry Correa of St. Francis Hospice spoke about the future of their organization. The Sisters of St. Francis were honored for their service and dedication. The volunteers were treated to a magnificent buffet lunch. The pet partner therapy dogs and their owners were invited up to the stage for a special photo opportunity and to be recognized individually for their service to the client's at St. Francis hospice. A special thanks to Sally Pekelo, Patty Martin and Betty Coffer for their service and dedication.
