Dec. 9; Holiday Night Lights Walk Through, Rotary Park, Wentzville. Walk through the light display and enjoy refreshments. Free up to age 6, $3 for ages 6 and up. Website

Dec. 10; Celebration of Lights Holiday Stroll, Ft. Zumwalt Park, O'Fallon. A 1-mile nighttime walk through the lights display. Free for 3 years and under, $2 per person over 3. Website

Dec. 10; St. Charles Municipal Band Holiday Concert, Lindenwood University J. Scheidegger's Center for the Arts. The concert and jazz bands perform holiday favorites. Free. 7pm. Website

Dec. 11; Family Holiday Evening, Foundry Art Centre, St. Charles. Cookies and hot chocolate and activities. Recommended for children up to age 12. Free. 5:30-7:30pm. Website

Dec. 11; Kenny Rogers Christmas and Hits Concert, St. Charles Family Arena, St. Charles. "The Gambler" performs his catalog of hits plus Christmas music. $33-$68. 8pm. Website

Dec. 11, 12, 15; Wishes and Wonders, Grace Community Chapel, St. Peters. Musical event with carolers, games, and activities. Donation drive. 5:30-9pm; Sunday, 4-9pm. See website for information.

Dec. 13; Annual Candlelight Christmas Walk, Augusta. A night-time walk lit by candles through the village. Free. 5-10pm. Website

Dec. 13; Christmas Pops Concert, St. Peters City Hall. Christmas music by the St. Charles County Symphony. $10. 7:30pm Website

Dec. 13 and 14; Winter Wonderland on Ice Show, St. Peters Rec-Plex, St. Peters. Solo skaters, synchronized teams, and holiday characters perform a show with a seasonal theme. $5-$8. Fri. 7-8:30pm, Sat. 5-6:30pm. Website

Dec. 13 and 14; Christmas With the Lettermen, Lindenwood University J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, St. Charles. $31.50-$51.50. Fri. 8pm, Sat. 2 and 8pm. Website

Dec. 13-15; Storybook Christmas, Element Church, Wentzville. Rock/pop music event with dramatization of the Christmas story. Free. Fri. 7pm, Sat. 5 and 6:30pm, Sun. 9:30 and 11:15am. Website

Dec. 14; Santa's Little Helpers, Memorial Hall in Blanchette Park, St. Charles. Crafts, games, and activities for ages 3-4. Includes lunch. $15 per child. 10am-3pm. Website

Dec. 14 and 15; Journey to Bethlehem, Harvester Christian Church, St. Charles/St. Peters. A live retelling of the Biblical Christmas story through woods behind the church. Good to know in advance: The outdoor setting isn't flat. Free. 5:30-9pm. Website

Dec. 15; Sounds of the Season, St. Charles County Heritage Museum, St. Charles. Enjoy a variety of live music and cider while touring the museum. Free. 1:30-4:30pm Website

Dec. 15; Christmas Traditions with The Lennon Sisters, Lindenwood University J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, St. Charles. Mid-century nostalgia and Christmas music from the long-running women's act. $26.50-$43.50. 5pm. Website

Dec. 15; St. Charles County Symphony Christmas Concert, First Baptist Church of St. Charles. Christmas music by the area's amateur symphony. $10. 6pm. Website

Christmas Trains & Treasures: Frenchtown Heritage Museum, 1121 N. Second St., St. Charles. A festive, Victorian train scene runs Nov. 29 thru Dec. 24. Jehling Hardware’s Train Exhibit: 1133 North Main St., O'Fallon. With 10 trains running on different levels you'll be captivated by this exhibit that makes kids out of any age. Trains run 5:30-8:30pm on Thursday and Friday nights, and 10am-5pm on Saturdays. Free. Website
