One thing that is certain about Friday night's Homecoming game between the St. Anthony Village Huskies and the host St. Louis Park Orioles is that one team will pick up their first win of the season.
Both the Huskies and Orioles come into the game with identical 0-3 records. St. Anthony lost to Minnehaha Academy 20-12 and St. Louis Park was pounded by Benilde-St. Margaret's 48-13.
The key to the Orioles picking up their first win for head coach Ben Wolfe is for quarterback Cole Livdahl to find open receivers and cut down on turnovers. The offensive line needs to give running back Robert Griffin Jr. more room to test the Huskie defense.
St. Anthony will have to get a good game from running back Zach Sigglekow and take advantage of turnovers.
Can St. Louis Park finally get the offense in gear and make Homecoming happy for fans? Get their early. The place will likely be packed.
