Squishy cozy bulky - shawl pattern coalesces

See also

Alicia Plummer's new (Dec 2013) shawl pattern is 'Coalesce.' Coalesce means "to come together so as to form one whole; unite..." What a perfect title for a pattern design, as every knitter hopes that the next pleasing blend of interesting stitches and yarn colorways, will coalesce as envisioned in his or her creative knitting mind. This easy shawl pattern popped out with its lovely slip stitch, US 11 (8 mm) needle and two-color scheme of Swan's Island Pure Blends Bulky.

The shawl, which is the 'new scarf,' or cowl, if it's really cold, can be knit in the size you want. The finished size posted is 28’’ x 70" or 71 cm x 177 cm, but easily adjusted to larger or smaller size. It uses about 3 skeins of bulky yarn, 390 yards, or 357 meters. This easy shawl pattern is very inexpensive, you can purchase it here for $3.00. More of Alicia Plummer's patterns.
