Calling all brides! Squaw Valley will host the Lake Tahoe Wedding Faire on Saturday, February 1, according to a press release on January 13 from Connie Anderson of the Abbi Agency for North Lake Tahoe. The event for brides-to-be will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Squaw Valley.

According to Anderson, "North Lake Tahoe offers some of the most stunning wedding venues in the country and at the Wedding Faire, future brides can meet and mingle with local business owners who can provide everything brides need to create the wedding of their dreams. The event will host a wide range of bakeries, florists, musicians, photo booths, photographers, venues, event coordinators and wedding rentals."

Jessica Greenleaf, who is Squaw Valley’s wedding and banquet sales manager, is a firm believer that the North Lake Tahoe area is the best place on the planet to have a wedding.

Here's her take on the area and the event: “We wanted to host this Wedding Faire to make it as easy as possible for brides to see all of what Squaw Valley and North Lake Tahoe have to offer. I really believe there is no better place for a wedding."

The event features interactive bridal activities, offering brides-to-be the chance to meet with vendors and perhaps book their services for the big event. A raffle is part of the event, with some very nice prizes.

Register for this free event online. Registration includes champagne. For the first one hundred people who register, a "special selection of elite raffle prizes" will be part of the day.
