Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows have announced that their 2014-2015 Tahoe Super Pass is on sale. The Tahoe Super Pass offers skiers and riders the ability to access 9,650 acres of stunning trails at four Lake Tahoe ski resorts.
The resorts, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sierra-at-Tahoe and Sugar Bowl/Royal Gorge Cross Country have an amazing variety of terrain. Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge are new additions to the pass for next season.
According to Amelia Richmond and Melissa Brouse, who are the PR team at the resorts, this is what the pass does for skiers and riders: "In addition to providing access to some of Tahoe’s most legendary terrain, the 2014-15 Tahoe Super Pass also offers free spring skiing at Squaw and Alpine for the remainder of the 2013-14 winter season."
That, all by itself, is enough for the snow crowd to get on board with the offering. Here are the prices:
"The Tahoe Super Pass starts at just $349 for adults for the Bronze Basic pass (regularly $409) - which is now available with limited quantities only, and will likely sell out. The College pass is currently on sale for $409, the Bronze Plus pass is $499 for adults, and the Silver pass is now on sale for $559 for adults. For the best deal and most access to four legendary Tahoe resorts, Gold passes are currently on sale for $789 for adults. Skiers and riders who purchase their pass before May 9 will receive the lowest guaranteed price on a 2014-15 Tahoe Super Pass."
The Tahoe Super Pass provides access to 69 lifts and 419 runs covering 13 world class Sierra mountain peaks. The Mountain Collective partnership, spearheaded by Squaw and Alpine's CEO and President, Andy Wirth, additionally gives the Gold Tahoe Super Pass holder 50 percent off lift tickets at Alta, Snowbird, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth, and Whistler Blackcomb.
With an incredible variety of trails, terrain, and resorts, this pass is one of the most sought after in the Tahoe area. The best deals are scored by those who buy early. Time really does count here.
