Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows get new snow from Sierra storm

Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are enjoying great new snow from the recent storms. Squaw reports 19" while Alpine reports 13", according to Melissa Brouse of the PR team at the resorts.

Brouse says that

"According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), winter weather conditions are expected to continue through Wednesday of next week. By Sunday morning, both Squaw and Alpine could see an additional 18 inches of fresh snow in the upper elevations, with over a foot of snow expected to fall on Saturday alone."

That's very good news for all snow sports fans. With season passes now on sale, and spring break just around the corner, the timing couldn't be better.

To get the most up to date conditions, check out the snow reports at Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. While this ski season has been a bit off and on, for now it is definitely on.
