In this week’s issues of Dengeki and Famitsu, Square Enix announced a new label, Extreme Edges, to categorize their upcoming effort of publishing western games in the west.
The first three games to be released under the Extreme Edges are Singularity, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days and Blur (known in Japan as Blur Racerz). Blur and Singularity are both Activision titles while Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is from Eidos Interactive, a subsidiary of Square Enix.
Previously, Square Enix published Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in Japan.
