Supreme Pro Wrestling started 2013 with a wild card Sunday night that featured nine matches. The main event was for the SPW Heavyweight title, a bare foot thumbtacks match between challenger Sir Samurai and reigning champion Bobby Hart. The show started off with a 2012 SPW Awards ceremony. The ceremonies ended with the kick-off of the first match when Mike Hayashi faced off against Joe DeSoul in a "Fan of the Year" match. Hayashi won the match by pin fall. Mustapha Saed came out to wrestle Drake Frost in a stiff battle of two big & bad dudes. The stiff match ended when Circumsexy interference was caught by the referee who called for the bell giving Drake Frost the D.Q. victory.
Jeff Cobb (a fresh faced youngster) wrestled Indy Legend Drake Younger in a stiff and high impact match that wowed the crowd. Jeff Cobb is one to watch out for in the future. Drake Younger also showed why he's a legend in the independents and around the World. One half of the SPW Tag Team Champions Rik Luxury came out demanding a match and got one with "The Big ugly" J.D. Bishop. The two duked it out before J.D. Bishop made Luxury submit for the win. The Xtreme title was on the line next. Champion C.J. Kurz took on Joe DeSoul in a wild match that took place inside and outside of the ring. The two gave it their all before DeSoul pinned Kurz for the victory and the Xtreme title.
After intermission, a mixed tag team match was held featuring a new stable "Dirty Money" (Circumsexy, Brittany Wonder & Mustapha Saed). Wonder and Levi Shapiro of "Dirty Money" took on the team of Savannah Riley and D-Torch. The faces didn't have much of a chance with the superior numbers of "Dirty Money" losing by pin fall. After a beat down by the stable, Dexter St. Jock came out making his debut by challenging The Riv of "Dirty Money" to a match. The wily Riv gave the youngster a wrestling lesson and pinned the rookie for the win. The Aces (Hayashi & Virgil Flynn) wrestled in tag team action against The Morlocks (making their SPW debut). The Aces high flying aerial tactics were too much for The Morlocks losing the match by pin fall.
The main event was a brutal bare foot thumbtacks match between Sir Samurai and SPW Heavyweight Champion Bobby Hart for the title. Thumb tacks, lemons, hot sauce and rubbing alcohol were on hand as well to use. Weapons could be used as well (and they sure were). Samurai took the match to Hart and not only did he want the belt but he seriously wanted to punish Hart. The match went back and forth, each wrestler doing their very best to punish one another. Despite Sir Samurai's best efforts to win the title, it was all in vain as Bobby Hart pulled out every trick in the book (along with a few new ones as well) to pin Samurai wining the match and retaining his SPW title.
