Springsteen to debut new songs on 'The Good Wife'

After Amazon accidentally released it early, Bruce Springsteen's upcoming album High Hopes will be streamed in it's entirety on CBS' official website as part of a promotional tie-in with their courtroom drama "The Good Wife." Songs from the album include the title track, "Hunter of Invisible Game" and a new version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad," which will be incorporated into a Jan. 12 episode of the show titled "We, The Juries." CBS will begin the stream of High Hopes on Jan. 5, at 7 p.m.

The album is scheduled to be released on Jan. 14, but last week Amazon accidentally made the entire album available for purchase as individual MP3 tracks. Amazon recognized the mistake and removed the songs, but not before enough people bought and uploaded them to file-sharing sites.

Springsteen recorded High Hopes with the E Street Band and ex-Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello during breaks along their 2013 world tour. The album is made up entirely of cover songs, album outtakes and newly reworked versions of old songs. As Springsteen told Rolling Stone recently, "The best way to describe this record is that it's a bit of an anomaly. But not much...I was interested in putting this material together in some form because it sounded like it all fit together."
