In honor of St. Valentine's Day, it's hard to resist trying to pick your own Top 10 Springsteen love songs once you see others' attempts. It would seem easy given Springsteen's vast catalogue of song but then you realize not many could be called love songs though some could be mistaken for one. A sheer love song is a rarity for Springsteen, and when he had one, it never became a single, a hit or well-known. Many on this topic are actually about lost love, unrequited love, or trying to get back in the good graces of love after screwing something up.
