'SpringFestNY' 10th anniversary anime Convention

"SpringFestNY" 2014 begins this weekend March 15, 2014. This two day anime con marks the first big geek festival of New York convention season. Every cosplayer and crossplayer who loves anime is gearing up for this one. With over 10 events, contest, work shops, anime retailers, special guest and the "Starlight Garden maids Cafe" all the thanks to Brooklyn's natives for hosting this. Poly Anime Society.This is the largest anime-con of it's kind of the New York area. With tickets still available at the door , you have the chance to be apart of this stunning Otaku's cultural event.

Some of you may have missed out on purchasing a ticket on Eventbrite and have been wondering if there were going be At-Door tickets this year. We will be selling a limited number of at-door tickets during the day of the con. On Saturday and Sunday we will only be selling a limited number of one-day tickets each day.

Now in it's 10th year, there is so much going on this year, it might be too much for Brooklyn to handle. Examiner is invited to explore this world with you. Why not take the time to join us and be part of this anime cultural event. Be sure to smile and don't be shy when the camera's turn your way!

SpringFestNY is one of the largest college run anime conventions in the New York/Tri-State area. The convention features Japanese musical acts, artists, vendors and exhibits, panels, workshops, and gaming. Events throughout the day focus on all aspects of anime, Japanese culture, gamer lifestyle and the American otaku experience. Along with panels we also hold anime showings, contests and concerts.

With so much happening SpringfestNY is the place to be. Anime voice actors from some of your favorite shows. Gamer contest and so much more, who knows what will happen this weekend.

Once again SpringFestNY is proud to partner with Mashfest NYC and Mad Catz to host some fighting game tournament action over the weekend! We asked you guys earlier in the year if you guys played the card game, Magic: The Gathering, and if you guys would be interested in participating in a tournament at SpringFestNY. Well we heard your voices and we are proud to have Kings Games host our first ever Magic: The Gathering tournament at SpringFestNY.
With so much to see Examiner will be there to join them.
