Do you love vintage vehicles? Are you a big fan of hot rods, muscle cars, antiques, and customs? March your calendar for March 23 and 24, when a parade of specialty vehicles descends on Daytona for the Spring Turkey Run.
This event puts cars on display, and you'll also find vehicles for sale and a massive swap meet. While cars are the stars, there's also food, entertainment, and an arts and fashion bazaar that's new for 2013.
Parking is free, and admission is only $10 per person for a full day of fun. Kids under 11 are free with a paying adult. The show runs each day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with more details on the www.daytonabeachcarshows.com website.
Want to display your car? Register online by this coming Saturday, March 2, at midnight and pay only $25. The cost jumps to $30 after that date, and you'll only be able to register at the gate.
If you register for the show, you get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do a lap around the famed Daytona International Speedway. See Corvette owners getting that chance last November in this article.
