Spring shoe trends 2013 (Photos)

Spring has been quite hesitant this year. We are still having some pretty cold days. It is hard to predict how the weather will be which makes it harder to dress appropriately. When one thinks of spring, thoughts of pastels and graceful dresses come to mind. In preparation for the April Showers that will bring May flowers, here are some of the shoe trends for spring.

Ankle Straps – The ultimate sophisticated look. You can pair these beauties with almost anything. Skinny heels are making a comeback and they are so stylish. This trend is simple and relaxed but is also very popular on runways. Grab a pair of skinny jeans and a simple button down and you will have a casual, effortless and fashionable look. If you are heading out for a night with the girls, a simple Little Black Dress will also compliment this shoe trend.

Floral Pattern – What’s more spring inspired than flowers? It is such a girly print and it gives combat boots a sweetheart look. Elle’s Spring 2013 Trend Report says, “A perennial favorite, the floral print finds a romantic revival on the spring runways.” Wedges with a floral print are very modish for spring especially when paired with a maxi skirt.

Boyfriend Look – Oxfords, lace ups and loafers all play into this playful yet casual look. It is very fashion forward and relaxed. While we all enjoy wearing a sexy pair of heels, sometimes a jazzy pair of loafers can complete the look. Whether you are wearing boyfriend jeans or shorts, this shoe trend is an up-to-the-minute option.

Also, the see it through trend is very popular for accessories especially shoes. The gladiator style is also making a vengeful comeback. Altogether, you have no reason to not be fashion forward this spring with all of the variety of shoe trends.
