Saddle up and join Communities In Schools of St. Johns for their first Spring Round-up: Boots, Brew, and Barbeque party, a honky-tonk celebration of southern style.
Swing to sounds of Americana and Boot Scootin' Boogie at The St. Augustine Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, March 10th. Dance the night away under the barn-raising hootenanny.
The Rod and Gun Club will be adorned by mood lighting, seasonal greenery, and western centerpieces. With comfortable conversational seating options, food and beverage stations and music added to the mix, the Club – particularly the paddock area – will be a fun, casual night to enjoy basketball games over drink and barbeque.
To set the tone for the party, there will be a "Happy Hour Silent Auction" from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the paddock area featuring coveted products, services, and restaurant gift certificates. There also will be live music until 9 p.m. The revelry will go to new levels late in the night when a basketball shoot-out goes down!
Patrons will have the option to taste traditional down-home offerings such as BBQ chicken, pork, beans, slaw and more! Evening appetites also will be satisfied by scrumptious country desserts provided by Wal-Mart Stores (St. Augustine).
