Every spring in Nashville, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is filled with beautiful flowers in bloom. Spring has arrived at Cheekwood this March with new exhibits for the family to enjoy. Spring 2014 will feature Cheekwood in Bloom with weekend activities and music for family fun. New exhibits will be opening in the spring and will be there for guests to enjoy during the beautiful Tennessee weather.

One of the exhibits that opens in March 2014 will be on location until March 2015 which gives locals and visitors plenty of time to stop by and observe the wonderful creations. North Carolina native Patrick Dougherty is the artist in residence and has brought his outstanding 'Stickwork' to the Botanical Gardens.

Opening March 22, 2014 until May 25, 2014 is Modern Twist which will showcase Japanese art in Bamboo. The showcase will feature never before seen works of art with the use of bamboo and educate visitors in the use of bamboo.

April 19, 2014 will be the Spring Art Hop which will include numerous activities for children in the Easter Egg Hunt, Crafts and Live music. This will be the 22nd year the Hop will be held at Cheekwood and has become a tradition for local residences and visitors alike.

Cheekwood Botanical Gardens is one of the hidden treasures of Nashville and should not be missed.
