The snow is thawing on the East coast so it is time to pack your ghost hunting bagt and head back to the historic Shanley hotel in Napanock, New York. On March 29, 2014, Mary Gasparo and Mark Sarro of Para Co-op will be hosting an overnight investigation and one of New York’s most active locations.

Travel back to the days of “Gangsters and Prohibition.” Walk the hallways of the Shanley Hotel—if you dare! Don’t forget that the ghost of “Joe” still guards not only the 3rd floor, but also his ‘special chair.’

Climb the back staircase and have a visit with the spirited “ladies” in the bordello. They are waiting to speak with you-- that is, of course if the madam allows you to complete the last flight of stairs!

Marla Brooks will call in the spirits and offer a circle of protection to the investigation crew via Skype. And if you cannot attend this investigative event, tune in and see it live at via Internet at

All this for only $95.00! Includes overnight stay, investigation, snacks and continental breakfast in the morning! Guests are encouraged to bring cans of dog or cat food to be donated to a local rescue shelter.
