The Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) is set to do some spring matchmaking this Saturday. They’ll be hosting a Cat Adoption Open House, with over 100 cats and kittens just waiting to meet their new forever families.
Potential adopters can come to the animal shelter Saturday between noon and 5:00 and visit with cats and kittens of all ages and descriptions. Cats adopted during the open house will receive a free microchip, courtesy of MCHS’s Feline Focus Committee, and a free litter box, courtesy of Whole Pet Central. In addition, special discounts are available for “Golden Oldies,” cats age 7 years and older.
The open house will also feature a bake sale and pizza to benefit the shelter cats. And if you can’t adopt but still want to help the cats, you can drop off some toys for the Kitty Toy Drive or towels or blankets for the Kitty Towel Drive.
Be sure to meet a few of the adoptable cats in the accompanying slide show.
