ABC News affiliate KTRK has reported on Wednesday morning that one person was stabbed to death while several others were injured at Spring High School in North Houston – an unincorporated area of Harris County in Texas.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Department official has reported that one individual was killed via a stabbing attack which occurred at 8 a.m. at the school. Additionally, another person was said to be in critical condition while others were stabbed but less critically.
Emergency personnel and law enforcement personnel were called to the area around Spring High School immediately after the attack occurred. A photo showing what appears to be blood in the hallways of the high school was posted shortly after the incident to a female student’s Twitter account.
Two persons were being led away from the scene in handcuffs by police.
Spring High School is in a suburb of Houston, located about 20 miles north of Houston.
