Who doesn't love spring? The flowers are in bloom, baby animals come out to play, and some of the best chocolate options come out for a limited time. Disneyland Resort embraces the beauty and fun of spring, which is why now is one of the best times of the year to the visit the parks.
If you are visiting with little ones, you should stop by Disney Junior - Live on Stage! at Disney California Adventure. The show has just returned from a refresher today and will now, along with your other favorite Disney Junior stars, feature characters from the shows of "Doc McStuffins" and "Sofia the First." From the Disney Parks Blog:
Sofia enlists the help of sorcerer Mr. Cedric in casting a spell to make her stepfather the king’s royal ball a sparkling success. Later, when her friend Lambie comes down with a case of “the rippies,” Doc McStuffins knows just what to do to help her feel “so much better.” The new sequences join returning stories from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” for a live show sure to captivate young fans and their families.
While you are visiting Disney California Adventure, check out the Vinylmation Easter Egg Hunt, another Limited Time Magic offering, now through March 24th. From the Disney Parks website:
Enjoy the most egg-cellent Limited Time Magic surprise yet! Embark on an Easter egg hunt through Disney California Adventure (valid theme park admission required). At the end of your quest, you'll be rewarded with a special Vinylmation prize!
If you want to play, visit Elias & Co. on Buena Vista St. to purchase the special egg park map and stickers (you will need this in order to redeem your Vinylmation prize). If you do not want to play, however, you can still enjoy the offering at a distance, as you will be able to spot Disney characters on eggs scattered throughout the park.
Speaking of eggs, you can find delicious Easter eggs in a variety of flavors, plus other delicious springtime sweets, at Candy Palace on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland. The eggs will be made through Easter Sunday and are priced at $9.95.
If you will not be visiting the parks until next week, don't worry. There will still be plenty of fun and exciting Easter-related offerings going on. Starting March 25th, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will have more Limited Time Magic offerings for Easter. From the Disney Parks Blog:
Things get hopping at Disneyland park as well on Monday, when the Easter Bunny stops by to greet guests in Town Square. Each day, the Easter Bunny will join some of his long-eared Disney friends, along with the Dapper Dans and Mickey and Minnie Mouse, for a Bunny Hop dance on Main Street, U.S.A.
At Disney California Adventure park, Russell and Dug have hidden oversized Easter eggs throughout Redwood Creek Challenge Trail for a Wilderness Explorer Egg Hunt. Track them down, follow the clues and solve the puzzle to earn your very own Spring Egg-tivity Badge.
Spring would not be spring without flowers, and the Disneyland Resort has arguably the best horticulture team in the world. Enjoy the bright flowers throughout the parks, especially the hot pink tulips on Main Street U.S.A. Grab a cone from the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor and take in the scenic beauty. Keep your eyes peeled for baby ducklings, as they are now being spotted in the park!
Spring has sprung at Disneyland Resort and you need to be there, because there is nothing else quite like it. See you there!
