Spring Has FINALLY Sprung!

The next seven days ahead
The next seven days ahead

It was a dreary day on the last day of Astronomical Winter despite a high of 48; we had mostly drizzle and some light rain that amounted to 0.12" during the daytime, but in the early evening there were a few embedded thunderstorms accompanying some heavy downpours.

A cold front and a short wave pushed through Wednesday night, but behind it temperatures are mild flirting with the 60 degree mark
NOAA

Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s with some light rain and then partial clearing by sunrise. This will lead to Thursday being sunny, but breezy with highs in the middle and upper 50s with a westerly wind around 15-20mph. Spring officially arrives at 12:57pm and at least it will feel like it!

Overnight Thursday into Friday a piece of energy will slide through, but it shall be dry with just clouds as lows will be in the lower 40s. Friday itself will be sunny with highs in the lower 50s. If that's not warm enough for you how about middle 60s on Saturday? The catch is that a cold front will come through in the evening with some rain and then temperatures go back below average to begin the new week......
