Now that the ice has finally thawed and the temperatures gradually rise, so do the hemlines, just in time for Spring. Most recently, some of New Yorker's favorite designers and style studios have introduced the media to the newest collections: Thom Browne, August Silk, Caravan and Aella.

Los Angeles based designer, Eunice Cho of Aella hosted a press preview and launch party at the always fashion-forward Soho House in the club room at this members only, Meatpacking area hot spot.

After searching for the perfect pair of tailored pants, Ms. Cho was inspired to create the best fitting trousers around. Each piece of the collection is made locally in California. Please visit: http://www.aella.co to view all of the Aella looks.

August Silk, (a favorite brand at Macy's and Amazon.com) gets it right every time with perfectly polished pieces for the career gals and women on the go across the globe. August Silk appears regularly in popular magazines including: People, Good Housekeeping, O (Oprah Winfrey's Magazine) and most of the August Silk brand is machine washable as well. At the showroom in midtown, members of the media got a glimpse into the Fall 2014 collection, please visit: http://www.augustsilk.com to learn more.

Thom Browne has earned quite a reputation as being the "cool" designer for creating avant-garde, yet wearable looks. As the Menswear Designer of the year in 2013 and also earning the Pratt Institute Fashion Visionary Award in 2013 along with an entire slew of other awards, having the Thom Browne press event at the Four Seasons seemed to be an easy choice for venues. Brocade coats, structured handbags and menswear inspired shoes were the standout pieces for the Fall 2014 showing. Please visit: http://www.thombrowne.com to view all of the must-have pieces.

Caravan Stylist Studio continues to keep the fine balance of chic and speakeasy at their cozy space at the Carlton Hotel. Most of the designers and beauty products are eco-friendly and made from sustainable ingredients and recycled products including Zoya nail polish, the Young and Able label and Tabii Just (made in New York). The recent cocktail party hosted in the lobby of the Carlton Hotel introduced these brands to fashion editors, guests and passerbys alike.
