Spring is officially here and the perfect way to celebrate is by chowing down on some seasonal produce, like asparagus. This stalky green looks pretty mighty, and it is!

Just like all vegetables, asparagus is full of fiber, and boasts a whole assortment of vitamins and minerals such as, vitamins A, C, E & K and chromium, a trace mineral that aids in blood glucose regulation in the body!

Asparagus is also packed with cancer-fighting antioxidants and has the ability to slow the aging process! Say what?
