“The pay-one-price admission includes a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy 2 oz. samples from any exhibiting brewery…If you really love great beer, this is the festival for you.” – Spring Craft Beer Festival website.
If spring is approaching, then it must be time for beer out in Uniondale. For all those froth-loving, golden elixir-gulping beermeisters, this brew is for you. It’s the annual Spring Craft Beer Festival at the Nassau Coliseum.
Spring Craft Beer Festival 2013
On Sat., March 9, 2013, beginning at 12:30 p.m., the Nassau Coliseum will host the seventh annual Spring Craft Beer Festival in the arena’s 60,000 sq. ft. exhibition hall. What can eager suds gluttons expect at the foamy gala?
According to springcraftbeerfestival.com, “More than 50 craft brewers from around the country will be in attendance, pouring samples of over 100 of their finest brews—the 2013 brewery lineup will surpass all years past.”
The party will feature potent potables from local and national breweries. There will be plenty of food on sale as well.
A very popular event
The festival has become so enormously popular that the producers, Starfish Junction Productions, have to hold two sessions for the one day event, 12:30 - 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Tickets are $45 online and $55 at the door on the day of the event. Designated drivers are $12. It’s 21 and over only, no exceptions. Valid I.D is required.
As they say in Uniondale when spring approaches, “Cheers.”
