Spring Cleaning Personal Brand Style

Online appearances aren’t the end all be all of personal branding, your personal style plays a part as well. In addition to spring cleaning of old emails and sprucing up of Twitter and Facebook pages it is also essential to get personal. Professional and weekend wardrobes need to be updated as well. Your clothing and accessories should reflect your personal brand style whether it is trendy, laid back, or eclectic.

Retail spending isn’t a top priority for most; however with the recession still in full effect discounted designer duds are popping up everywhere and I for one am fashionated! This isn’t just for the ladies any more there are many men’s lines too. Gilt Group has a variety of sites specifically for men, women, and even discounted travel. Sites such as Hautelook and Rue la la sell essentials for anything from skincare to clothing to home goods and much much more! These sites are a great way to update your look without breaking the bank.  Who says you can't dress like a celebrity?

To look good is to feel good so perhaps just pick a few key pieces that represent your personal and spring style- order up some discounted duds and head out to one of this week’s great Chicago networking events, spring has sprung!
