Movie fans in Scottsdale are waiting for the release of "Spring Breakers" to theaters. On Monday, March 11, Deadline and The Improper shared the latest comments by the director and a star of the film. The Gossip Girls also shared the latest photos released for the film. Harmony Korine is the man that worked behind the camera to bring this film to life. "Spring Breakers" will give fans a different look at Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens. The film is far removed from their Disney personalities. Korine said the following about the film, according to Deadline:
"I’d been collecting Spring Break imagery for a couple of years from fraternity sites and co-ed pornography for paintings and artwork. Here were all these hypersexualized, hyperviolent subjects with childlike details — nail polish, bags, stuff like that. So I imagined girls on a beach in bikinis robbing fat tourists."
James Franco also stars in the film, and it is his character that leads the girls down a darker path during the film. Gomez also spoke about the film, and it is something 'different' for fans. She revealed the following, according to The Improper:
"There’s the movie that we’re making and there’s the movie that the media thinks we’re making."
This film is set for release later this month to theaters. Fans are buzzing about the pending release of this film on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:

Scottsdale residents will be able to see this film at the Harkins Scottsdale Fashion Square 7 or at another local theater in the area once it is released on March 22.
