Spring break specials at Walt Disney World resort hotels

Just in time for spring break, Disney is offering Florida residents up to 35 percent off the standard rate at select Disney World resort hotels.

Guests traveling between now and March 22 can take advantage of the biggest discounts (up to 35 percent). Guests planning vacations between April 6 and June 3 can receive up to 30 percent off the standard rate at Walt Disney World resort hotels on most nights.

The biggest discount is available at the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) resorts. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Beach Club Villas offer 35 percent discounts on most nights between now and March 22. A 25 percent discount is available at The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. DVC Membership is not required to make reservations.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, and the cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort offer a 30 percent discount for most stays through March 22. A 25 percent discount is available at Disney's All-Star Music, All-Star Sports, and Pop Century resort hotels. A 15 percent discount is available at the new Disney's Art of Animation Resort-Family Suites.

These reduced hotel rates coincide with a discounted Disney ticket option for Florida residents, the Discover Disney Ticket. For $119 plus tax, Florida residents can visit one theme park per day for three days. There is also an option to add a fourth day for an additional $10 plus tax. There are blockout dates between March 23 and April 5 when guests cannot use the Discover Disney Ticket. These discounted tickets must be purchased by June 3 and expire on June 7.

More information on Disney World discounts for Florida residents is available at the official Walt Disney World Web site.
