Spring 2014 children's theatre at the Smith Opera House

The Smith Opera House in Geneva, New York is the location for several child-focused theatre performances sponsored through the Smith Center for the Arts this spring. This "ArtSmart Educational Theatre" series line-up includes the following performances:

The Monster Who Ate My Peas. March 25, Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 7p.m. The ArtsPower National Touring Theatre performs this story that is based on the award-winning children's book "The Monster Who Ate My Peas," by Danny Schnitzlein. This musical is geared towards grades K-2 and lasts about 55 minutes.

Stuart Little. April 30, Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 7p.m. The Dallas Children's Theatre performs the story of Stuart Little, a mouse who lives with a human family in New York City. This performance is geared towards grades K-5.

All performances are $5.50 per person. Tickets can be obtained at the Smith box office at 82 Seneca St. in Geneva or online at The Art Smart Educational Theatre series is sponsored by the Smith Center for the Arts, Lyons National Bank, City of Geneva and the Delavan Foundation.
