Building on the successes of seven years worth of popular Restaurant Weeks, The Valley Table magazine announces the Spring 2013, 14 day Hudson Valley Restaurant Week. March 11-24 promises to be the most popular Restaurant Week to date. Last year in March an estimated 200,000 people dined out in more than 200 participating restaurants. Everything is in place to make this year’s event even more successful!
Restaurant Week is the largest promotion of dining out in the Hudson Valley. As such, it highlights the outstanding culinary talents in the region and allows restaurants to showcase local ingredients at an entry-level price. Owners, purveyors and patrons all benefit as they help to build a thriving culinary environment.
This year’s participating restaurants will again offer a three-course ‘prix-fixe’ (pronounced pre-fee) lunch for $20.95, and/or dinner for $29.95, plus, of course, beverage, tax, & tip. It is an altogether reasonable introduction to any restaurant on the list you may have otherwise been too intimated by the price to try. Who knows? That new restaurant just may become your favorite!
