In addition to vibrant colors and bold patterns, braids top the list of Spring 2010 trends. From Alexander Wang to Oscar de la Renta, braids were by far one of the most uniform beauty trends at the Spring runway shows. Vogue embraced the trend immediately by publishing an entire six-page spread with model Kasia Struss sporting a waist length side-braid in January’s edition.
The best part about this hair trend? It is probably the easiest and cheapest way to throw your self into style in the morning. It takes about 20 seconds to weave your hair into a braid, and voila, it doesn’t need to be refreshed for the entire day. This look can seem a little messy, so for a more put together finish try the Lauren Conrad braid that never fails to look chic.
