The Northeast Ohio Media Group, through its “Good News Giving”sweepstakes, is offering Clevelanders and people from Northeast Ohio, ages 18 and older, a great opportunity to give recognition to their favorite Northeast Ohio health and human services organizations, while also being automatically entered to win one of ten iPads being away.
The Northeast Ohio Media Group is a new digitally-focused arm of “The Plain Dealer.” It has just announced its Good News Giving program, which will donate more than $1 million worth of free advertising in the “The Plain Dealer,” Cleveland.com ( http://www.cleveland.com), and the Sun News publications to 50 health and service organizations, as voted on by participants. In addition, says the group, the top 20 will be the recipients of print and online editorial exposure as well as funding from community donations.
Northeast Ohio Media Group says in one of its announcements of this new initiative, “These vital nonprofit organizations, which provide essential services to those in critical need right here in our community, will be chosen by ballots cast by our readers.”
Additionally, says the Northeast Ohio Media Group, they will acknowledge the top-voted agency with its “Readers Choice Award” and an impressive additional $10,000 donation.
Those who cast a vote for their personal favorite charity, will then be eligible to win one of the ten 16GB WiFi iPads being given away.
