Last night, Shia LaBeouf enjoyed a night out at the theatre right here in the Windy City.
A source spotted the star, in town filming portions of Transformers 3, in the audience of Killer Joe. The Tracy Letts play is currently running at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted St., Chicago).
Apparently, LaBeouf is on hiatus from hard partying. In 2007, he was arrested for criminal trespassing while intoxicated, at the Walgreens on the corner of Chicago and Michigan Avenue.
My Chicago Concierge reports that Transformers 3 filming will result in many street closures, including Michigan Avenue from Ontario to Wacker, through Sunday. Portions of Upper Wacker will be closed Monday through Wednesday. If you live or work in those areas, plan accordingly and anticipate many film fans.
