The children and residents of Humboldt County will be visited on October 19 - 22, 2011 by twenty-five children's authors and illustrators when the Humboldt County Authors Festival takes place at area schools and libraries. Caroline Arnold is the author of more than 100 books for children and she will be on hand for the festival to meet with readers and discuss her books.
Born and raised in Minnesota, the author developed a love for nature early and this love is evident in the types of books she writes. The natural world and the animals that live there are the subject of Arnold's books with titles such as A Bald Eagle's World, Australian Animals, and Mealtime for Zoo Animals. In addition to writing children's books, Caroline Arnold also teaches writing for UCLA Extension courses. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and cat.
