With a 5,000 square foot private dog park featuring cushioned artificial turf, a swim therapy pool, dog-friendly ramps, certified trainers to watch the pups and video cameras so you can too (via webcam), Spot is an excellent daycare for the poshest pup. Marrow’s clientele already includes such celebrities as Mariah Carey, Glenn Close, James Gandolfini,Gerard Butler, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler, Kristin Chenoweth, Donna Karan, Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Bernadette Peters, Lorne Michaels, and former New York Giants players Jim Finn and Todd Pollack.

Spot’s services include cage-free overnights, expert training, grooming and concierge services in a sanitary and safe environment. The daycare trainers have all completed an extensive training conducted by Brewster Smith, who has extensive expertise with years of experience managing several different dog daycares. He enforces a “no bark” policy, finding that when dogs bark, they tend to get overexcited. It must work, because they have never had an incident of dogs getting into a fight under their care. Dogs are encouraged to remain calm inside the cage-free daycare rooms. After all, they do sleep most of the day while at home.

Spot has another location in Putnam County, a country retreat for dogs whose owners will be away for more than a few days. Spot even offers transportation to and from the retreat, as well as transportation to and from daycare at the NYC locations. This is ideal for NYC professionals who work long hours, but want the best for their dog.
