Before Fat Amy came Fat Mandi, a sketch comedy character the rising Hollywood star created for Fat Crackers, a segment on Australian TV show The Wedge. The character was not only the source for Rebel Wilson's latest role as Fat Amy in Pitch Perfect, but also served as inspiration for her new t-shirt line, Fat Mandi.
The actress tweeted a photo of herself hiking to the Hollywood sign in CA last week wearing the tee and then posted another photo on the 27th of January with the following tweet:"If you need some cupcake or donut power in your life, check out my T-shirt experiment site: http://fatmandi.bigcartel.com."
With only two pieces, the line is far from a collection, but certainly very Rebel-esque. The pink (donut) and blue (cupcake) tees have strategically placed images across your bust line providing maj comic relief! She took to twitter to also say "The shirts are just a little experiment - I had a dream I created them, and so I felt like I had to do it!! Thanks everyone for checking it!". LOVE that message, have a dream-go for it! Here's hoping Rebel goes the next step and creates additional designs & expands sizing.
