The woman behind Makeup Massacre is Stephanie Marie Aviles. She was born and raised in San German, Puerto Rico and moved to Syracuse in 2006 to attend Syracuse University. She graduated in May 2010 with a dual degree in Public Relations and Fine Arts . She has a background in theater and has been doing makeup since her early teen years. Stephanie also studied stage makeup at Syracuse University unleashing her passion for special effect makeup applications.
Stephanie began doing makeup professionally about four years ago while living in New York City. Her specialty is Avante Garde but she does not limit herself to just one style. She loves it all and finds inspiration in paintings, design and nature. Much of her inspiration also comes from Pat McGrath, Lottie Stannard, Francois Nars' and everyday objects. Stephanie also lived in London for four months where she learned about the fashion and entertainment industry and acquired skills that she can apply to her makeup artistry and her everyday life.
Makeup Massacre is available for travel throughout Central New York and can frequently be found in New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. She is available for a variety of assigments.
