Spotify announced today that their BlackBerry app has come out of beta and is now available on most GSM BlackBerry devices.
The music player software has been in the US for several months now, and as is the norm for us BlackBerry fanatics, we weren't given an app out of the gate. It took months before Spotify even released a beta, and now the app is finally out to the public.
As with their Android and iOS mobile apps, you must be signed up for the $9.99/month premium service in order to use Spotify on your smart phone. Thankfully they are currently offering a 30-day trial period so you can whet your whistle a bit on unlimited music.
As I stated, the app is currently available on GSM devices, so if you're on a BlackBerry on either Sprint or Verizon you'll have to wait a little bit longer before you can get it.
To download the app, head on over to m.spotify.com from your device.
