'Sportsman of Colorado' radio show hitting the airwaves on Saturday mornings (Photos)

Outdoor enthusiasts of all types will be happy to know there's a new radio show airing on 1600AM The Zone. You can learn about hunting, fishing and everything else outdoors-related by tuning into the Sportsman of Colorado every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

"Sportsman of Colorado Show offers a variety of hunting and fishing experts, outfitters, guns, ammo, and archery specialists to keep Colorado hunters, anglers, and outdoorsman informed of techniques, products, gear, conservation news and the upcoming seasons," said founder and radio show host, Scott Whatley. "Sportsman of Colorado provides radio listeners and the online community with a premier destination for the outdoorsman enthusiast.

The program's goal is to provide a forum to collect and disseminate information on the best products and services, outdoor stories and photography, articles, advice and tips. Whatley thoroughly researches and only selects knowledgeable local Colorado personalities and business owners that cater to passionate outdoorsmen.

Tune in this Saturday, Jan. 26 at 8 a.m. and enjoy beginning fly fishing information shared by Denver Fly Fishing Examiner and High Country Angler destinations writer, Brian La Rue. La Rue will be sharing ideas on how to get into and get better at fly fishing whether you've never picked up a rod before or you are getting into the sport, but need a little more push into what could possibly help you get to the next level.
