A new era of hockey in Toledo, Ohio, is beginning in October of 2009 as the East Coast Hockey League returns after a two-year absence.  The Toledo Walleye, the second-generation ECHL team in the area, begin their first season in 2009-2010 at the brand new Lucas County Arena.  Want to be a part of the action and excitement?  Purchasing tickets to the games is the first step in enjoying in all the fun.

As of July 18, 2009, Toledo Walleye luxury suites, season tickets and mini-plans are on sale.  Plans range from partial-season hockey packages to club seats that include every game and VIP access.

The club seats package is the crown jewel of season ticket plans, offering access to every home game for the Toledo Walleye and Toledo Bullfrogs, the new arenafootball2 team that will share the arena.  Club level seats are located on the balcony in front of the luxury seats and come with special privileges including access to a private concourse, the club level lounge and two outdoor terraces.  The team is offering club seats at an introductory price of $1,360 per seat, per season, with a three-year commitment.

For those looking for a basic plan, event-level packages include tickets to each of the 36 Toledo Walleye and eight Toledo Bullfrogs regular season home games.  Seats are located in rows 4-19 in the lower section, with the guarantee of the same seat for all games.  The three-year packages range from $548 to $948 per seat, per season.

A variety of partial-season plans are also available, featuring combination hockey-football packages and hockey-only packages, with some including guaranteed tickets to the October 16, 2009, home opener and playoff games.  Mini-plans start at $191 per seat and can be purchased on a season-by-season basis.

Tickets for the two pre-season games the Walleye will play at local arenas went on sale on July 9, 2009.  An announcement regarding single-game ticket sales is expected soon.  For more information or to purchase tickets, call (419) 725-WALL or visit the Toledo Walleye official site.
