The Georgia native invites individuals and families to come out and support his campaign and enjoying a day of festivities.

The dedicated representative continues to honorably serve the constituents of District 30 and runs unopposed for re-election in 2014.

Dunahoo has lived in Hall County since 1964. He graduated from North Hall High School in 1975, and for 25 years he was a partner and owner of K & D Transportation.

Currently he is employed in sales at Robinson Harrison Poultry.

The Georgia representative is an enthusiastic outdoors-man who shares a passion for hunting and fishing with his father and family.

Active in the community Dunahoo spends a lot of his time volunteering for several groups like coaching little league, high school football as well as the bass tournament for challenged children.

He is a committee member of the Foothills Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation at Chicope Agricultural Center and avidly supports the state and national parks.

Honorable Dunahoo serves on several committees including: Banks & Banking, Game, Fish and Parks, Information and Audits and State Properties.

Sign up for the event where you will have the opportunity to meet and speak with the outgoing legislator as well as to compete the shooting challenge.

Registration begins at 4:30 pm, shooting begins at 5:00 pm and the BBQ dinner will be served between 5:30 and 6 pm.

Dunahoo invites you to bring your guns, ammo and BB guns for younger kids in an effort to raise money as well as to have some fun.

Dunahoo's intentions include common sense, for common people, for a common good.

"I believe that we need strong, fundamental, conservative leadership in the House, and that common sense needs to take precedent over the red tape that exists in many of our policies and agencies. Common people need a voice in the midst of existing politicians who are out of touch. This would result in the common good for all.

"As a successful businessman and an ever striving family man, I believe that my past history and character speak for itself. While being blessed by the Lord, I am debt free, and I have 'lived like no one else in order to live like no one else' (Dave Ramsey)."

Dunahoo believes in giving small businesses incentives to hire and expand as well as to boost local economies and create jobs.

He stands behind his words of rewarding savers instead of penalizing them. Infusing banks with more capital and create more loans to stimulate spending.

His values include but are not limited to:

  • Pro personal responsibility - Don't depend on government and be a responsbile citizen.
  • Find viable solutions for the social security and/or retirement problems that are looming ahead.
  • Pro Education - reduce furlough days, restore quality funding for qulaity education
  • Pro Environment - Lake Lanier
