Spooky treat for the ears and mind to get into the Halloween spirit (pun intended) is being aired by L.A. Theatre Works. This Thursday, October 24 through Sunday, October 27, 2013 L.A. Theatre Works’ Radio Theatre Series will air “Dracula,” written by Bram Stoker, adapted by Charles Morey, directed by Rosalind Ayres and starring David Selby and Simon Templeman. The broadcast can be heard on public radio in over 75 markets, and can also be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.
In this bone-chilling stage adaptation of Stoker’s bloodthirsty tale of unholy terror, Count Dracula slips into Victorian London with a cargo of his native Transylvanian soil — so he can rest between victims.
L.A. Theatre Works' radio theater series can be heard on the following stations (check local listings for broadcast times): 90.7 KPFK, Los Angeles (98.7 FM in Santa Barbara, 99.5 FM in Ridgecrest/China Lake and 93.7 FM in Rancho Bernardo/North San Diego); 91.5 WBEZ, Chicago; 94.9 KUOW, Seattle; 91.1 KRCB, North Bay (San Francisco); and in over 75 markets nationwide.
