If you like ghosts and all things spooky, then check out this year’s Murfreesboro Anime and Comic Con, to be held January 19 and 20 at the Clarion Inn on Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro.
On Saturday night, Jan. 19, there will be an investigation of a haunted theater on Main Street, and this theater shouldn’t disappoint since it’s reported to be the home of no less than three different spirits. The investigation is only $20 per person, but it’s strictly limited to 10 people and already about half full. If you’re interested, get your reservation in now.
There will be a panel discussion on Sunday from 3 -4 on “Ghost Hunting and Beyond.” Beyond ghost hunting? The Great Beyond? It doesn’t say, but both topics could be quite interesting.
For even more ghostly fun, stop by my table at the Con for your copy of Nashville Haunted Handbook, which I’ll autograph for free. There will also be ghost hunting equipment and other books available. Plus, I’m working on my next book, and I’m looking for people with true ghost experiences to talk to. Make sure you come by and see me.
Admission to the Con is $10 per day, but you can purchase a VIP package that includes admission for both days, with early access on Saturday, a goodie bag that includes food and drink (always a money saver), a photo and autograph session with Lee Tockar (an incredible voice actor with more credits than I can list here), access to the Con suite, access to the official Con party, passes to upcoming area Cons, and more.
