This Friday, February 1, think about spending Spokane's First Friday on Garland Street. The Mary Lou's Milk Bottle and Ferguson's Cafe reconstruction from their fire is complete and now is a great time to go see how great the neighborhood is looking. Download a map from the Garland District before you visit exhibits at the Bon Bon Lounge, TaFuris Studio, Glamarita Clothing & Accessories, The Garland Drinkery, The Rocket Bakery, and the Blue Door Theater.
Artists on display in the Garland Business District will be Ara Lyman, Kristen Black Photography, Joy Mizzoni, and Gerber Photography. Visit 4 Garland First Friday venues and see the 10:00 Blue Door Theater show free.
The Garland Business District is an eclectic neighborhood with so much spirit that celebrating First Friday here is a natural. There is much to enjoy, fun people to see, great kitsch architecture, delicious food and drinks, and talent abound. Don't miss this night; you can always go downtown on Saturday night!
