The ten day event started on February 22 and continues until March 2nd. The organizers of the event wanted to make sure everyone got a chance to taste what Spokanes greatest restaurants has to offer.
The participating restaurants, including Hay J's Bistro in Liberty Lake, Churchills Steakhouse downtown, and O'doherty's Irish Grille in the Valley, and many more, each offer up a set price 3 course menu including an appetizer, and entree and a dessert course for either $18 or $28. For these amazing prices, you can taste some of the best food Spokane and the surrounding area has to offer.
The idea to starts a restaurant week in Spokane stemmed from the wild success of the same event in Seattle, among other cities. Although this is the first time restaurant week has come to the inland northwest, the organizers feel that the turn out is definetly enough to perpetuate oncoming years.
What better way to taste what our city has to offer than to get out there and support our local restaurants. The folks at Inlander, URM, VisitSpokane, and Sterling bank sure wish you would.
