Spokane Parks & Recreation holds Annual Job Fair

The City of Spokane will be holding their 20th Annual Job Fair next week on Sunday, February 12th from 11a.m. to 3p.m.  The job fair will be held at the IMAX Theatre in the Main Pavilion.

The job fair is hosted by Riverfront Park and there are over 200 spring and summer jobs available.  These jobs are an excellent opportunity for teens that will be 16 or older by March 6th.  Some positions require that applicants must be 18 by March 6th.

Seniors, teacher and part-timers are highly encouraged to apply.  The following 2012 job openings are:

  • Attraction attendants
  • Parking and ticket cashiers
  • Facility and grounds maintenance
  • IMAX Theatre projectionist, cashiers, and concessions
  • Food service attendants and cooks
  • Guest service representatives
  • Security officers
  • SkyRide Operators
  • Tour train drivers
  • Electro-mechanical technicians/aides
  • Manito Park Bench Cafe team members
  • Merkel sports complex concessions
  • Lifeguards and swim instructors

Spokane Parks and Recreation also needs volunteers.  Volunteers have to be at least 14 years old and complete a waiver and background check.
