Spokane cat owners love spoiling their felines

Spokane cat lovers truly enjoy spoiling their kitties. The felines don’t seem to mind this trait in their owners at all. So you see, all benefit from these routine indulgences

One of the most common ways of pampering cats is baby-brushing them. Most cats enjoy the sweet rhythmical front-to-back sashay of a brush or comb over their coats. The brushing routine builds a bond as it soothingly stimulates the feline’s skin and cleans his/her fur. Each cat has a distinctive preference for brush type and brushing style, and some like to switch off, be it bristle or de-tangle style.

Cats like to sleep just about everywhere. Cats are sleep-specialists, so you know they appreciate comfortable sleeping spots; which includes anywhere they choose on YOUR bed; few are known to even sleep in their own cat bed. .Yes, all are allowed to sleep wherever they please without complaints from their adoring owners.

Cat fanciers also make it a point to rotate their feline’s toys. There is no such thing as too many cat toys. Most are quite inexpensive, but it is very important to change the ones you keep out on a daily basis. If a toy is constantly in one place, it is dead to the cat and the cat will simply walk on by it as if it wasn’t there. It’s a good idea to hide a few toys for the cat to find. That way kitty can entertain him/herself in the middle of the night or when you are not at home.

There is also the incomparable interactive play sessions. Everyday-interactive play has many profits: It provides your cat with mental and physical exercise, strengthens the cat-human friendship, and helps keep kitty's weight in good condition. It also allows both your cat and you to be creative.

One popular cat-human game is a peek-a-boo type sport. Crouch down in back of a chair, peek out to get your cat’s attention, and then quickly retreat. It won’t be long till your cat will scuttle to you and pounce at you as if you were a mouse. This game works best if you dim the lights. Another fun activity is to toss a cat’s toy in a dark room and watch as the kitty attacks. Other fun interactive games are with a feather wand or a laser beam.

Cats are quick, agile and amazingly skillful hunters. They also make wonderful friends
