Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” will resume again in just a matter of days, and fans are anxious to know what lies ahead. Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick, did share a few “The Walking Dead” spoilers in his Jan. 31 chat with Entertainment Weekly. What will viewers see in the new episodes?
Lincoln says he's very excited for the episodes remaining in season 4 of “The Walking Dead.” He says they have a different tone than previous episodes, and viewers will see a lot more of characters who have previously been perhaps overlooked. He adds that the episodes are very soulful and character driven. It seems fans will also see some “very witty pairings” in new character groupings.
Where is baby Judith? Could she still be alive? Lincoln simply says, “She's gone... That's it.” Given that, Rick will go through a lot of self-discovery in the second half of “The Walking Dead” season 4. He notes that the characters are all in the weakest spots they've been in, but they're also tenacious.
What, specifically, did Lincoln tease about “The Walking Dead” episode 4x09? He says that viewers will see a man “who is frightened for the first time in a long, long time.” He says he's very weak, which leaves him frightened for both himself and for Carl. He is aggressive and belligerent toward Carl because he's so scared, and it seems he doesn't even quite know how to move forward at this point.
Tune in to “The Walking Dead” as season 4 resumes on AMC beginning Feb. 9.
